A fund of the Vaad Hakohol

Let's get you home.

Families in our community buying their first home can apply for help with the down payment. Once approved, you get your own page to share, so family and friends can give, with a tax receipt from the Vaad for every gift.

  • Free 2-minute check
  • Your own page to share
  • Tax receipt for every gift

How it works

From application to keys in hand, with your community behind you.

  1. Apply

Check if you may qualify in two minutes, then apply online or with the office. Everything is kept private.

  2. Get approved

The committee reviews your application in confidence and approves an amount the fund can help with.

  3. Share your page

You get your own campaign page and link to share with family and friends. They can give or pledge, their gift is recommended for your campaign, and every donor gets a tax receipt from the Vaad.

  4. Receive the help

When you close on your home, the Vaad sends the help straight to the closing.

Private, fair and personal

Kept private

Only the office and the committee members reviewing your file see your details. Sensitive information is encrypted, and every time a document is opened, it is recorded.

Decided fairly

Reviewers declare any conflict of interest before they open a file. Decisions come from the committee as a whole, against the fund's written criteria.
